Product Engineer (m/f), Akola in Akola, Maharashtra

Your tasks:
- Collaborates with other departments with design requests and collaborates in problem-solving issues
- Gathers design inputs such as customer requirements, costing information, and manufacture plans and determines the design outputs
- Compiles and analyzes operational, test, and research data to establish performance standards for newly designed or modified equipment or product
- Negotiates proposals to ensure that the part maintains all requirements & design intent
- Creates drawings of designs relating to assemblies, components, tolerance stack up, and design intent proposals
- Performs, evaluates, engineers, and optimizes designs by studying current design, prototypes, similar parts, and competitor parts
- Prints drawings, makes images, evaluates designs, and provides information to cost estimating, engineers, etc.
- Designs parts using knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, injection molding technology / practices, material properties, manufacturing processes, prototypes, & historical data of similar parts
- Transfers, reviews, documents, and distributes design files accordingly
- Reviews and understands all functional, dimensional, durability, & performance requirements of part to be designed
- Creates, implements, and champions design project timelines to meet deliverable expectations within cost requirements with all parties involved
